Pilates movement is health! Hanna has 20 years experience of Pilates. She came to Pilates through her love of exercise and movement. Hanna is passionate about the benefits of Pilates exercises for everyone, whatever their age or level of fitness. She loved jogging, swimming, weight lifting, yoga – among other exercise modalities. She lives and teaches Pilates which is based on the fact: movement is health! She is enrolled in Franklin Method professional training.
Pilates classes address the individual needs of each client. Hanna’s clients range from beginners to advanced, from young adults up to 89 years of age. Clients come to work on general fitness and a range of issues -pain, post laminectomy, joint tightness, pre and post natal exercise and remedial work .
Hanna has used Pilates to manage her own migraines and hypermobility. Hanna has used exercise as a form of stress management – when working in the community sector. Now, as a lawyer Hanna uses Pilates to counter the ill effects of long days at her desk and has adapted this experience to teaching clients, of all ages, facing the challenge of sedentary jobs.
Pilates movement principles can be applied to everyday activities outside of the studio – so that people can learn to move from their core and find more ease in their bodies.
